Landscape Concept + Masterplans
We understand that every site, and every client’s wants and needs are as individual as they are, so we will tailor a landscape design package that suits the unique, specific qualities of your garden and the level of detail you need to create the garden of your dreams. Our process is guided by your lifestyle and vision, helping you create a garden that reflects how you want to live and enjoy your outdoor spaces. The package can range from a general concept design, to a highly detailed masterplan which may include detailed planting plans and materials schedules, lighting plans and 3D renders.
The design process typically includes;
-
We research any planning considerations and organise a site visit by the landscape designer to gather and document all relevant site-specific information such as aspect, topography, soil type & existing and surrounding vegetation. We discuss with you how you want to use your garden, your budget and your personal design preferences. Together this information will inform the brief and shape the design as it develops
-
We bring all this information together and start with the broader concept design which includes the general layout and feel of the new garden, with concept images included to create a moodboard of how the garden will look and feel
-
The design is refined and developed into the final drawing set which includes all the relevant detailed information, and may include a planting palette or planting plans and schedule, materials and hardscape schedule, set out plans, and 3D renders
Masterplan Elements
Planting Plan
A planting plan maps out what plants go where in your garden design. The detailed plant schedule includes information such as plant species names, sizes and quantities required and the plant palette includes images of all the plants to be included in your garden
Materials Schedule
A comprehensive schedule for all surface materials for hardscape areas, including decking, paving, stone cladding etc
Lighting Plan
The right lighting will enhance your garden to look its best at all times -even at night
3D Renders
Are you a visual person? 3D renders will give an artists’ representation of what your garden will look like from various angles and reflect the spatial qualities, materials, finishes and levels
Swimming pool design + approvals
We love designing pools and we love the relaxed lifestyle that comes with them! We will work with you to design your dream pool with consideration for the design of the garden and site within which it sits.
Swimming pools require planning approval either through a Development Application (DA) or Complying Development Certificate (CDC). We will ensure your pool design complies with all relevant site-specific planning requirements and prepare a plan set ready to submit for the approval process.
Landscape Plans for Approval – DA/ CC/ CDC
For builders, architects and home owners, we prepare landscape plans suitable for submission as part of a DA, CC, or CDC for your new build. The landscape plans will be prepared to comply with all relevant council or CDC requirements
Other Services
Management of approvals process DA/ CDC
We can manage the process of submission of your plans for DA or CDC approvals with the relevant authority for pools, retaining walls and other landscape elements. This service will be quoted separately to the design.
